PTA

Our Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is active across the whole school, forming an important link between parents and the school.

All parents are automatically members of the PTA.

The PTA organises a programme of exciting events throughout the school year including the school fair, the Christmas fair and Santa’s Grotto, fireworks / bonfire night and holds regular second-hand uniform sales.

The PTA has been instrumental in raising funds for the school including recently purchasing ukuleles for each child in Year 5, personalised bracelets for Year 6 and St Joseph’s-branded wooden pencil cases for all students at the start of each academic year. The PTA generously part-funded the new adventure playground in the infant school and help Santa when he delivers special presents to all pupils during Christmas.

At each annual AGM, the PTA elects a Chair, a Vice-Chair, Treasurer and Secretary.

We are proud of the commitment and energy we gain from our committee and we hope that it continues to be a strong part of the school.
