At St Joseph’s, we are always looking at ways to improve parental engagement.
After much testing and preparation, working with Weduc, we launched our very own school ‘app’, in January 2022. We compared various options and got feedback from several ‘focus groups’ of Governors, parents and staff before choosing to build our own app with Weduc’s support.
It is available to download on the apple app store or android google play store (search for “St Joseph’s Federation”) or if you do not have a smartphone, it is accessible on any computer or tablet, as a normal web page
Our school app is a ‘one-stop shop’ where you can access all relevant information for your child and where we can share information with parents in a timely and cost-efficient way. It translates across 12 languages and works on any device.

- School policies and useful documents for parents to read and download
- News / events
- School calendar, including events specific to your child’s year group
- School noticeboard
- Consent and data collection forms
- Absence reporting
- Attendance record
- Relish Meals including pre-order
- Booking for clubs and trips
- Parent / teacher evenings with built-in video conferencing*
- Accident reporting
- Money / payment for items+
