Dear Parents/Carers,
Year 2 went on a wonderful trip to Brockwell Park to enhance their understanding of habitats. They had a great time and learned lots of interesting facts. Thanks to the Year 2 team for making this possible and all the parents who gave up their time to help.
The PTA had their Annual General Meeting today. It was great to see new parents to the school in Attendance. New positions were voted for and we have a new CO- Vice Chair, Secretary and Communication Secretary! The position of PTA Treasurer is still vacant please email the office or contact the PTA team if you are interested in this role.
Thank you to all the parents who have completed our communication survey. Having your feedback is really valuable and helps inform the decisions we make. If you have not completed it yet, here is the link to the survey.
To enhance the children’s playtimes, sports coaches have been doing multi-sports with them at lunchtime. The children have responded well to having structured play activities and enjoy the opportunity to learning from professional coaches.
Next week is Child Mental Health week. So the children will be having lessons that promote their wellness. Hopefully you will talk to your child about what they learn throughout the week. On Monday morning, the PTA will be hosting a coffee morning to parents to talk and relax. Please do come and join them in the Junior Hall.
We break up from school on Thursday, the half term has gone really quickly and we are really proud of the development and growth of the children as well as the dedication and commitment of all the team. We have achieved so much in such a short space of time.
I hope you and your families have a wonderful weekend,
Mrs Ashley and the St. Joseph’s Team
