Dear Parents/Carers, Our new newsletter can be found here. We hope you find that you have a better understanding of…
Dear Parents/Carers,
The children have been starting their day with a special lenten prayer and reflection. On the journey to Lent, we have been reflecting on our Lenten promises and the impact of our actions on others. Y5 have been doing in depth work on the possible positive or negative reactions to an action.
Y4 have been learning to play the steel pans this term. They are progressing well and have been able to play in unison, evaluating their performance.
Assessment week began on Monday and the children have been doing assessments to show their learning and inform teachers of their next steps. This will be feedback to parents on Parents Evening which will be on 19th and 21st March. A letter will be sent soon so you can book an appointment with your child’s class teacher.
Next week is book week and children will take part in a range of activities to promote their love of reading. A letter was sent out explaining all the wonderful learning planned for the children.
The building work has started which is really positive. We are looking forward to the works being completed and are excited to see the completed works.
The new KS2 playground markings have really enhanced the children’s play and lunchtimes. The children are enjoying the range of activities the markings bring. A huge thank you to PTA for funding this for us and bringing so much joy to our children!
We hope you all have a wonderful weekend,
Mrs Ashley & the St. Joseph’s Team
