Planting trees to honour resilience at St Joseph’s

On Friday 7th May, representatives from each St Joseph’s class planted a tree as part of the Woodland Trust’s ‘Trees for Schools’ project and in honour of the resilience shown by our community during the past year.

This is a continuation of our established sustainability strategy. In 2018 pupils from St Joseph’s planted trees in Norwood Park as part of a project with the London Wildlife Trust, to help provide habitats for wildlife among the surviving areas of the Great North Wood. Did you know that our Forest School was once part of this ancient wood?
