Herne Hill Harriers – are they for you?

Herne Hill Harriers was founded in 1899, so while not as old as St Joseph’s (1872) they have been around for a long time as a community sports club for our area, so please check them out.

The Harriers are a well-known family club that caters for all standards. They offer coaching, training and competitions in all track and field events, road running, cross-country, indoor athletics and sports hall.

The Harriers welcome athletes of all ages interested in track and field, road running or cross country races.

Streatham Common

The Harriers also train on Streatham Common specifically for local and distance runners. Please meet 100m up the side of Streatham Common South (where the petrol station is at the bottom).

Other events

During September they have cross-country races and relays in Sparrows Den (18th Sept) and road relays in Crystal Palace (26th Sept). During October they have indoor sportshall for the sprinters, road relays and cross-country races
