The above lessons cover the National Curriculum requirements for Invasion Games using High 5 Netball, Quick Sticks Hockey & Rugby Union official resources and equipment. Net/Wall Games use LTA tennis, Golf Foundation Tri Golf, Kwik Cricket official resources and equipment. Gymnastics uses Key Steps/School Games and YST Tops Cards official resources. Swimming uses the official ASA National Teaching Plan for Swimming. X Country and athletics
refer to official UK Athletics and Sportshall Athletics.

The sessions are organised in line with the School Games Competition Calendar. They are arranged so that maximum practise is available to all pupils in preparation for the School Games competition to ensure that the best School Team is put forward – not all children are able to attend OSHL.

NB. To maximise effectiveness of curriculum map flexibility is desirable. SHA & Gym – indoor sessions. Netball/Hockey/Tennis etc. are preferable outside.
