At St Joseph’s we take part in many different sports, both with qualified coaches that are part of our school teaching team and outside coaches that come into school. We encourage all pupils to actively participate in sports promoting a healthy lifestyle for all. Our school is represented in a range of teams for Football, Netball, hockey, cricket, swimming, basketball, athletics, dance …
Many of our children belong to clubs outside of school hours during the week and at weekends. We encourage our children to take part in such activities to make new friends and to develop as individuals within a different environment. Mixing with children of varying ages enables our children to learn skills they may not encounter within school while discovering a talent they never knew they had.

Sainsburys School Games Gold Award
Congratulations St. Joseph’s Platinum Award!
Well done to Mrs Mangan and all those involved in St. Joseph’s application to renew the Sainsburys School Games Award. Fantastic news we have achieved the PLATINUM Award. We are all very proud to be maintaining and exceeding our high standards! The children have been a big part of this process again with many of them being recognised as our young leaders.
Another great team effort well done everyone.
