As part of this Children’s Mental Health Week, we have been addressing the theme of Bravery in school. There have been lots of activities to promote mental wellbeing and the children have been learning about, exploring and developing their physical and emotional health. We have had workshops in the Junior School and Buster the Therapy Reading dog visited all the classrooms. Parents and Carers joined the children for toast and read sessions, lunch, fun runs and games afternoons. In the classrooms children shared their own experiences of being brave and the teachers made sure a lot of time was spent on fun and collaborative activities.
